I would say that CrossFit is a great way to learn about yourself, challenge yourself, and enjoy yourself. Nobody is great at everything and nobody is great when they start, but if you’re consistent and willing to try new things, you’ll progress and you’ll be hooked.
I’d say CrossFit Ashland is a wonderful place to start your CrossFit journey. Everyone I’ve come across is friendly and welcoming. The great thing about CrossFit is that it humbles you every day so you pretty much have to leave your ego at the door – and when that happens you make genuine connections with other people.
I was feeling old and out of shape. I wondered if I should wait to do CrossFit until I got in better shape. I’m so glad I didn’t wait! The workouts are interesting and fun. They are challenging, no matter your ability. I think I’m on my way to being in the best shape of my life by my next birthday … my 60th!
I am a member of the 2016 USA Women’s Elite Underwater Hockey Team that will be competing at the world championships. I started crossfit in 2013 as a supplement for my underwater hockey training. Crossfit Ashland not only helped me stay in shape, but also helped me get faster in the pool without much swimming. I also got stronger while training at Crossfit Ashland. The coaches knew the right amount they could push me. I have enjoyed attending Crossfit Ashland and appreciate the opportunity to work out with the great and knowledgeable staff. Thank you CrossFit Ashland!
CrossFit Ashland has given me a fitness routine that is fun, motivating, and helped me achieve real results. Ben and Jen offer a combination of challenging physical workouts and a broad knowledge of holistic health and nutrition. I’m so thankful I found this gym.
