  • Jen Chew

    Coach, Health Educator

    Jen Chew is a Coach and the Health Educator here at CrossFit Ashland. Her passion is educating people on the knowledge needed to grow and improve their health and fitness.

    She stays on top of the latest research in medicine and health to make sure members at CrossFit Ashland are always taken care of with the most cutting edge health and wellness information.

    “I love seeing our members grow and change. I especially love seeing our ladies get that sense of empowerment that comes with feeling strong and fit!”

    As a Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner, health has always been important to Jen. CrossFit has allow her to help even more people in a very big way.

  • Ben Chew

    Owner, Head Coach

    Ben Chew is the Head Coach and Owner of CrossFit Ashland. He’s best at making CrossFit accessible to everyone, no matter their fitness level.

    He’s passionate about bringing out the best in people.

    “Anyone can always be better than they currently are. I love watching my members grow, learn new things about themselves, and discover capacities they didn’t know they had.”

    Prior to starting CrossFit, he trained primarily in Parkour and Yoga. Once he started CrossFit, his fitness went to a whole new level. He knew then that he needed to make CrossFit accessible to a lot more people.

  • Rob Marten

    Endurance Coach

    Rob Marten is the Endurance Coach here at CrossFit Ashland. He specializes in teaching running and cycling mechanics.

    He’s passionate about training others to become a well rounded athlete.

    “I wouldn’t trade coaching my clients for anything else.”

    “I love when a member is able to reach a milestone they’ve been gunning for. Seeing the smile on their face and their excitement is a magical thing.”

    Rob grew up as a runner and biker. He began cycling when he was only three and for the last decade, he’s been competing in road races and cyclocross.

    Rob’s favorite quote is from Vince Lombardi, ” It’s not whether you get knocked down, it’s whether you get up.”
