Owner, Head Coach
Ben Chew is the Head Coach and Owner of CrossFit Ashland. He’s best at making CrossFit accessible to everyone, no matter their fitness level.
He’s passionate about bringing out the best in people.
“Anyone can always be better than they currently are. I love watching my members grow, learn new things about themselves, and discover capacities they didn’t know they had.”
Prior to starting CrossFit, he trained primarily in Martial Arts, Parkour and Yoga. Once he started CrossFit, his fitness went to a whole new level. He knew then that he needed to make CrossFit accessible to a lot more people.
Coach, Health Educator
Jen Chew is a Coach and the Health Educator here at CrossFit Ashland. Her passion is educating people on the knowledge needed to grow and improve their health and fitness.
She stays on top of the latest research in medicine and health to make sure members at CrossFit Ashland are always taken care of with the most cutting edge health and wellness information.

As a Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner, health has always been important to Jen. CrossFit has allow her to help even more people in a very big way.
Rob Marten is the Endurance Coach here at CrossFit Ashland. He specializes in teaching running and cycling mechanics.
He’s passionate about training others to become a well rounded athlete.

Rob grew up as a runner and biker. He began cycling when he was only three and for the last decade, he’s been competing in road races and cyclocross.
Rob’s favorite quote is from Vince Lombardi, ” It’s not whether you get knocked down, it’s whether you get up.”
Heather Welch is a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer and a Certified Primal Health Coach. She has been passionate about teaching in many forms for nearly 20 years. Her favorite part about coaching at Crossfit Ashland is sharing in the small celebrations at every workout or private coaching session when a new skill is learned or a goal is finally reached. She also loves high fives, so come to class prepared with determination, a great attitude, and your favorite high five hand!
